UP IN SMOKE #1 Presented by Burnout Warz
Up In Smoke # 1 is a brand new event coming to Adelaide International Raceway, Saturday 30^th March.

The AIR burnout pad is back again! Located next to the iconic AIR drag strip, it is time to make some more smoke on Adelaide’s favourite burnout pad.

Up In Smoke is a family friendly event with something for everyone. There will be kids entertainment, trade stands, car displays and lots of burnout action.

This is a one day event running into the night (9am-9pm), finishing under lights.

We have already had a lot of interest in this event and anticipate a large crowd at the event.

THERE WILL BE $10,000 IN PRIZE MONEY UP FOR GRABS WITH THE TOP 3 PLACE GETTERS IN EACH CLASS WINNING CASH!!

Up In Smoke plans on inviting many high profile interstate competitors, so this along with the generous cash prize giveaways we anticipate we will attract some of Australia’s best burnout cars. This will be one of the biggest burnout shows is SA for some time!

The judging will be based on several criteria, including continuous smoke, driver control, popped tyres and crowd appeal.

There are 4 classes; 4cyl Class, 6cyl Class, V8 Class and Open Class.

4cyl Class  – Any vehicle with a 4cyl or rotary fitted. 
6cyl Class  – Any vehicle with a 6cyl fitted.
V8 Class - Any vehicle with a V8 fitted.
Open Class – Open Class is for blown cars, turbo/supercharged/nitrous forced induction engines.

We will have to cap the numbers in each class, so first in best dressed.

**Safety Checkers will have final say on Class**

There will be Two Rounds (all entrants in both rounds) and then Finals for each class. The first two rounds have a maximum time of 1 and a half minutes. Finals have a maximum time of 2 minutes.

PRIZES & TROPHIES
There will be $10,250 in prize money up for grabs with the Top 3 place getters in each class winning cash (only first place in 4cyl Class) . Prize money breakdown below;

OPEN CLASS       1^st $5,000           2^nd $800              3^rd $300

V8 CLASS            1^st $2,000           2^nd $400              3^rd $150

6 CYL CLASS       1^st $1,000           2^nd $200              3^rd $150

4 CYL CLASS       1^st $250

Note. 4Cyl Class there will only be prize money paid for 1st place if there are more than 5 cars entered in the class. 

**Total prize money will be halved if less than 80 cars (from all classes) enter by Friday March 15^th 2019. Prize money breakdown below if less than 80 cars entered;

OPEN CLASS       1^st $2,500           2^nd $400              3^rd $150

V8 CLASS            1^st $1,000           2^nd $200              3^rd $75

6 CYL CLASS       1^st $500               2^nd $100              3^rd $75

4 CYL CLASS       1^st $125

There will also be Three (3) Burnout Masters Tickets to Red Centre NATS (RCN5) 2019 up for grabs.
Tickets will be awarded to 1st & 2nd in Open Class and 1st in V8 Class.

The winner of each Class as well as second and third will also take home trophies.

EARLY BIRD ENTRY before Friday March 15^th is $100 without Event T-Shirt or $120 with Event T-Shirt. Entry will after this date will be $150 without Event T-Shirt or $170 with Event T-Shirt.

Entries will be capped at 100, so first in best dressed!

Passengers (1 per car) will be allowed (with helmet & specific clothing).  Passenger passes only $20
